IcesteinX is a Section 8 foundation based in India, focused on integrating smallholder farmers into the global carbon credit market. By leveraging high-resolution EO satellite data, from our own constellation of HyperSpectral and Synthetic Aperture Radar Satellites and blockchain technology, we have been structured to ensure the authenticity of carbon sequestration claims, truly offers CO2 emitters; a pure technology driven, reliable way to offset their emissions through 'high quality nature-based solutions' with extensive social impact returns.

We aim to revolutionize the global carbon credit market by utilizing Earth Observation (EO) technology to validate carbon sequestration on million of smallholder farms across India. Through an innovative ICO, IcesteinX will raise funds to deploy our own constellation of hyperspectral and synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellites, alongside smartphone imagery supplied by small holder farmers across India, to track soil health, monitor carbon sequestration activities, and ensure transparency in the carbon credit marketplace.

The project will create a blockchain-based certification system that guarantees transparency and prevents issues such as fraud and double counting. This certification system will support smallholder farmers in India, helping them adopt sustainable farming practices while enabling them to participate in the global carbon market. By onboarding 1 million smallholder farmers by 2030, IcesteinX aims to increase CO2 absorption in soils while promoting natural farming practices and improving local livelihoods.

Through this ICO, IcesteinX will launch a series of blockchain certificates (10 million in total) to track and validate the amount of CO2 sequestered through sustainable agricultural practices. The initial funds raised, through our ICO, will be used to support satellite infrastructure, implement enhnaced machine learning soil CO2 Sequestration algorithms, and expand the reach of the project to 1 million smallholder farmers by 2030. #icesteinX

How the ICO Will Support millions of Small Holder Farmers and the Environment

 

The funds raised from the ICO will help onboard 1 million farmers in India by 2030. These farmers will adopt natural farming practices that improve soil health, increase carbon sequestration, and reduce their dependency on synthetic fertilizers and pesticides. As farmers participate in carbon sequestration activities, they will receive payments, equal to 85% at or above the $60 USD per tonne of CO2 sequestered, against the token minted for there activities verified using EO and smart phone imagery smart contracts.

• Total IcesteinX ICO Token Supply: 10 million total tokens, with 2% (200,000 tokens) offered in the initial ICO.

• Revenue Model: 85% of funds raised from token sales will go directly to smallholder farmers, while 15% will fund the development and maintenance of the satellite infrastructure and blockchain technology.

• Token Price: Each token has a $60 USD minimum funding value, as the estimated value of one tonne of CO2 sequestered through smallholder farming practices in India.
